The general Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye this afternoon visit President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo at Abuja Presidential Villa, popularly called Aso- Rock.
The clergyman was personally welcomed by the President. Its worthy of note that the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is a senior pastor under Pastor of the RCCG.
Source very close to the Presidential Villa revealed to News Punch that the Pastor Adeboye had talk with President and his Vice. What was discussed was yet undisclosed as at press time. Our source also said the man of God prayed for the success of this administration, especially at this hard time of economic downturn, insecurity and the unity of the country.
According to Punch Newspaper, Adeboye arrived the forecourt of the President’s office with Osinbajo inside the Vice President’s official car at about 12.30pm.
He arrived shortly after the visit of the Liberian President Ellen John Sirleaf.
The clergyman was led straight into the President’s office by the Vice President.
The meeting which was described as a private one lasted about 20 minutes.
After the meeting, Osinbajo led the clergyman out of the venue of the meeting into his waiting car.
Adeboye however did not speak with State House correspondents. When asked for comment, he simply said, “God bless you.”
As he was entering his white unmarked car, Adeboye repeated, “God bless you all.”
