BREAKING: The Senate Bows, Suspends Amendment of CCT, CCB, ACJA Act

The Nigerian Senate have bowed to pressures from Nigerian and have suspended the amendment of the controversial Conduct Bureau (CCB) and Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) Act and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015.

The senate at its plenary today agreed to suspend the proposed amendments. Many believed that the proposed amendment of these acts was in favor of Senate President Bukola Saraki who is presently on trial for the alleged false declaration of assets.

The senate also agreed to step down the petition against Senator Kabiru Marafa who has always been against Saraki.

Senate also suspends the Amendment of the CCB/T Act and the ACJ Act.

Senate now agrees to put a stop at all things that has divided the house even as the petition against Senator Kabiru Marafa is stepped down.

Senate also decides to stand with Senate President @bukolasaraki in his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Senate also decides that Senators who have pending cases in Court should withdraw such cases.
