Calabar Imperial College Records First Graduation

Cal'bar Imperial College, the African Diaspora school, at the weekend, recorded its first graduation in Calabar, Cross River's capital.

The ceremony saw Dawnelle Effah, ...a pioneer pupil of the school making the first and only Graduand since the school was established in June 5, 2012 in Calabar.

Speaking at the event, the college Director,  Dr. Victor Ani Offiong worried about the increasing number of Nigerians traveling overseas to obtain educational, health service, in countries  believed to offer these services.
  
Dr. Offiong stated that it was against the backdrop of curtailing these increase in the number of  Nigerians and other Africans travelling abroad for better standard of education that Cal'abar Imperial College was established.

The services the college offers the  director of the college said includes education at primary level while a secondary and even university level of education is on the way, it also offers guidance and counseling as well as other educational services.

On his part, the father of the day, Dr. Asuquo Obong who was in the company of his Women leader and beautiful Daughter, Atim, emphasized the need for the school to continue to lay emphasis on inculcating morale values on pupils of the college in a way that will get them to love and fear God.

Highpoints of the event featured graduation, free speeches and photograph session.

The college has in its renewable energy board, Engr James Oba, the CEO of Tecil, Nigeria's foremost solar power installation company; Isreal Adams Burns esq., the director of Power Management; Effiong Solomom; Roland Edu- the college Diaspora director, and directors and administrative staff of the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), Calabar.
