Flow stations, compressor Stations Oil & Gas worker operators in OML30 in Delta state of the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), Has vowed to down tools the operational headquarters of NPDC zonal office Benin city in Nigeria over their non –payment of their eight month salaries of the month January 2016 till date , 2015 bonus /allowances and non confirmation of staffs.
In a press statement signed by Ops field Operators chairman OML30, Mr. Meshach Ugeh and it s secretary Mr. Evuaherhe Obukowho respectively said, since early this year till date , NPDC have been mal-treating the worker of OML30 on poor payment of salary and bonus allowances.
OML 30 OPS Worker, recall that, the operators wrote to NPDC Managing Director, recently, requesting for improvement of their upgrade of field operators workers, payment of salaries and others, are all abortive.
Stressing that, after undergo different various training and assessed competent with SPDC which was inherited by NPDC all has become a shamble.
The chairman maintain that, they have written so many letters to NPDC over their non confirmations and non- payment of salaries through, engineer Yousuf mates ,the Asset Manager, Mr. Abubakar Mai Mai – Bornu, Mr. Anthony U muoneke ,Executive Directors- Asset Management NPDC OML30 and others no avail.
The OML OPS worker therefore, call on NPDC to pay their salaries and others allowance due for field operators of OML30 workers welfares through their individual account direct instead of contactors without delay or face the consequent, meanwhile in effort to speak with the speak the station management were no fruitful as the station superintendents’ and the team leader decline comments while NPDC external Relations officer, Mr. Ugo Atugboko was reached but no comments as at when going to press . He stated.
