President Muhammadu Buhari has stopped the receipt of allowances as a former head states immediately after he assumed office as President on May 29th 2015.
Unlike Buhari, President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, his predecessor, David Mark and several other former governors still enjoy such allowances and peck of office even as they are still collecting salaries and allowances accrued to them in the present offices.
Buhari's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba in series of tweets on twitter, made the disclosure on the President Garba also the President also don not collect cars, calendars and diaries from the Nigerian Army that were being distributed to former Heads of State.
