Evangelist Niyi Pirisola, a former caretaker chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Ondo State and a close ally to the Ondo state governor, Olusegun Mimiko has been assassinated.
The incident was alleged to have happened in the earlier hours of today, Friday, September 2.
According to a member of the community who spoke with our source, the deceased was said to be returning from a vigil when he was macheted to death at the gate of his house at Ilutitun in Osooro area of the state.
His remains have since been deposited at the Okitipupa General Hospital. Before his death, Pirisola was former a People’s Democratic Chairman, caretaker chairman, of Okitipupa Local Government.
