Though 2019 may still be far, but politicians are already warming up for what could at the end be regarded most intrigued election as a former governor of Borno State and the embattled factional Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has reported earmarked N100 billion to execute his presidential ambition.

Our source claimed it exclusively gathered that the two-time Borno State governor is so much battle ready for the 2019 presidential challenge so much so that he is willing to spend a whopping 100 billion Naira on the election campaign.
“Creating the exploratory committee will allow Senator Sherriff to start spending money immediately, especially on travels and other relevant things such as setting up a huge media team,” the source said.
Ali Modu Sheriff is Borno State’s first governor to serve two consecutive terms (2003–2011). He was the acting National Working Committee chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from 16 February 2016 until the National Convention, where he lost out to another Senator, Ahmed Maikarfi, but refused to concede defeat.
“The thought of running excites him big time, and he cannot wait to get on the road and start travelling around the country. He wants to listen to the core issue facing the Nigerian people,” our source concluded.
