Mr. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity has berated the supporters of the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed over the insinuation that the former Lagos State Governor was betrayed by the President after he (Tinubu) helped installed him as the President.
Adesina answering questions in a very recent interview granted to Vanguard News said saying that Tinubu installed Buhari as President is playing God.
Buhari's media aide in the rebuttal answer said;
"You are a journalist and a political watcher. You can say whether somebody installed another person. I am sure as a political watcher you know it."
"You know that getting to political office is usually a combination of factors. Each person has a role he plays and so, I don’t think anybody can come out to say, “I installed this person.” No, it is a wrong word. That person would then be playing God."
However, Adesina posited that Tinubu is a political force whose contribution among others peoples' too made Buhari the President.
"Asiwaju Tinubu is a political force to reckon with. He played his own part in the emergence of President Buhari and that is why the President has high respect for him," Adesina said.
He also revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari has a very high regard for Tinubu.
