The Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria, a very influential Islamic organization in Osun State has held its quarterly national seminar in Iwo, Osun State with focus on reformation of the society.   

The seminar which was held at the Iwo City Hall was the first of its kind since Dr. Shafi’i AbdulAzeez Bello became the new National President of the foremost Islamic organization.  

Members of the organization from various branches from different states stormed Iwo for the seminar.


The National Ameer of Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria Dr. Shafi’i AbdulAzeez Bello enjoined the participants not to be deterred from cause of Allah.

Dr. Shafi’i AbdulAzeez Bello admonished the members of the Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria to see themselves as a group whom Allah entrusted with huge responsibility and charged them to play their roles with sincerity.


One of the founders of the Islamic organization and member of the incorporated
board of trustees of the organization, Ustadh Basheer Usamah Olalere while speaking during the seminar explained that the organization was established to keep the value and sanctity of Islam.

He charged all members of the organization to strive to maintain the mission of founding fathers of the organization, saying that the challenges facing the organization was temporary and that it would soon become a thing of the past.

The General Secretary of the organization, Dr Tajudeen Oladejo in his address congratulated the participants, saying the event was a milestone for the organization and its members.

Delivering a lecturer during the seminar, the vice President of the Supreme Council for Shariah and Proprietor of Sheikh Abdulazeez bn Baaz Shariah College, Iwo Sheikh AbduRasheed Hadiyatullahi charged members of the Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria to rededicate themselves to the cause of Allah  

Sheikh Hadiyatullah maintained that polytheism had been the order of the day among Islamic scholars claiming false propagation of Islamic creed of monotheism. Sheikh Hadiyatulahi added that one of the signs of the end time was the false claim of 30
prophets and prophetesses after the death of Prophet Muhammad.

Other guest lecturers include Ustadh Mutiullahi Mualy and Dr. Qoseem Udhaefah Bello.
While delivering his lecture on the same topic, Ustadh Mutiullahi emphasized that dogmatic followership on the part of the followers in an organization is an act of polytheism.
He cited the instances of some companions of Prophet Muhammed who were able to distinguish between obedience and dogmatism.

The seminar was also attended by different top islamic clerics including the area council Ameer of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, Ustadh Abdulkabeer, Brother Abdulkabeer Abu Imtiaz, Mallam Yusuff Bilal, Ustadh Mushafau among others.
