A statement issued by the protem vice chairman of the group, Abdulhamid Nuhu reminded the Nigerian Ag President who is also coordinating the activities as a negation to the declaration of President Buhari that all the activities of the government will be hitch-free during his medication
The group expressed worries over the serial delay against the well being of Kogi people from the appointment of the new minister to Senate screening, and now swearing in
He accused the Ag President of being too formal in running the affairs of the government, saying for how long does it take to consult on an already resolved issue of a cabinet minister appointed by the president due to assume duty.There is no constitutional lacuna there, he said
"As Ag president, he has the temerity to take any action provided it is the interest of the state, saying Nigeria needs a robust and proactive action in all ramifications"
Nuhu said if Ag President, Yemi Osinbajo presides over FEC session, what does it take to swear in the new ministers, stating Kogi is desirous of dividends of democracy demanding of the new minister irrespective of any power play
"You can swear them in with the consent of the ailing president and take cognisance of the portfolios instead of the delay tactics", saying the people aree beginning to loose confidence in their quest for genuine change"
