Photographs have emerged of the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo defying security protocols to reciprocate cheering mob, basically students and pupils.
The Acting President getting off his car was seen struggling to beat his security details to share handshakes with school children, in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The Acting President arrived Calabar, on Thursday arrived Calabar, the Capital City of Cross Rivers State for an official working visit.
Osinabjo was received at the airport by the state Governor, Ben Ayade who led him to the palace of the Obong of Calabar.
Speaking at the Obong’s palace, Ayade disclosed how Osinbajo jumped down from his car to interact with the people of the state.
Ayade noted how Osinbajo shook hands with supporters, both Peoples Democratic Part, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, who came out to meet him.
In a tweet on his social media handle, media aide to Osinbajo, Laolu Akande quoted the governor as saying “I was surprised when he asked we get off the car.”
