Stakeholders in Nigeria football have been admonished to rally in support of the Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernort Rorh, in the quests to qualify the national team for AFCON 2019 and Russia 2018 World Cup respectively.
This remark was made during the week by Locomotive Moscow striker, Ezekiel Henty, in a chat with the press. According to the former AC Milan forward, these are critical periods for Nigerian football and it calls for unity and concerted efforts by all stakeholders, for Nigerian football to achieve its desired goals.
" It is bad enough that we lost a crucial game at home to South Africa. However, we shouldn't allow it to dampened our morale, " Henty admonished.
" I believe that rather than trading blames, we should support and encourage Gernort Rorh and his technical crew to roll up their sleeves, in order to reposition the fortunes of Nigerian football, " the immensely talented and lanky forward stated.
Speaking further, Henty praised the efforts of the Super Eagles gaffer in opening the doors of the national team to young and talented footballers of Nigerian descent in the diaspora.
" This is a good initiative by the coach and the football authorities, as it would encourage Nigerians from different parts of the world to also make a stake to represent their country. Importantly, too, it would also help to boost the pool of football talents for the good of the Nigerian football, " he enthused.
