The official results released by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC showed that despite resounding victory recorded by the ruling All Progressive Congress In last Saturday Local Government election in Lagos State, the party actually lost seven councilors to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the Accord Party.
The LASIEC in a statement by its Director of Publicity, Mr. Oladapo Olatunde stated that the PDP won FOUR Councilorship and Accord Party three in the election.
PDP won it four councillorship seats in Agege Local Government Area (LGA) Ward C, Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA)Ward A, Ikorodu LGA Ward G, and Oriade LCDA Ward A.
On the other hand, the Accord Party won in Agege LGA Ward E, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Ward D and Shomolu/Kosofe Ward E.
