Dr. Doyin Okupe, has taken a swipe at Nigerian youths describing most of them as lacking knowledge for referring to him as political prostitute
The former President Goodluck Jonathan's media aide in series of tweets @doyinokupe express his dissatisfaction of some Nigerian youth who tongue-lashed him as political prostitute for dumping the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP
Okupe, in attempt to justice his decision said it not morally wrong for politicians to defect from one politicial party to another. He sited the example of some America top politicians who have done same.
He, however, mentioned the roles he has played in the policial arena before his appointment by Goodluck Jonathan. He narrated the opposition role he played against the late MKO Abiola in 1993 election.
"Nigerian youths are interesting. Many lack knowledge yet readily insults those who have. They comment & judge things they barely understand"
"I have read several disparaging remarks on Nigerian politicians. some without knowing who I am have the guts to call me a political prostitute"
