The Coalition of Civil Society on Movement for Good Governance, CCSMGG has endorsed Senator Andy Emmanuel Uba as the next governor of Anambra State.
Senator's Uba's endorsement came during a workshop organised by the group in Ikeja Lagos on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2017
The national coordinator of CCSMG, Comrade Larry Adebayo during the workshop said, among all the aspirants jostling for Anambra Governorship, the incumbent inclusive, Senator Uba is most qualified considering his pedigree, political and administrative experience.
His stance was supported by the group's Media Director, Comrade Festus Ogwumadu who also said that the good governance enjoyed by the Anambra people why Uba was elected as the governor in 2007 has since eluded them after his abrupt exit.
He, however, enjoined all Anambra indigenes and residents to give massive supports to Senator Andy Uba in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

More so, Comrade Ogwumadu urged All Progressives Congress, APC to vote and give it governorship ticket to Uba. He said the only aspirant in the APC that could defeat the incumbent governor in the fast-coming election is Senator Andy Uba.
Comrade Adebayo's statement reads in part; The Coalition of Civil Society on Movement for Good Governance, CCSMGG as a non-governmental and non-partisan organization has endorsed Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba to emerge as the next governor of Anambra State, as he is the most qualified among all the aspirants"
Ogwumadu, in his own remark said; "We arrived at our conclusion to endorse Senator Uba based on his integrity, experience, his pedigree, administrative experience and most importantly, his good governance while he was briefly the Governor of Anambra before his abrupt exit in 2007"
"We urge the APC to ensure Senator Uba emerge as its flag-bearer, as he is the only aspirant that can thoroughly defeat the incumbent in Anambra"
