The group behind the purported planned recall of Dr. Bukola Saraki, the President of the Senate has gotten a booster from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The anti-Saraki forces from Kwara Central, a few days ago got an official response from INEC over a request for Kwara Central Voters Register. The group had earlier written the electoral umpire, demanding for the voters' register to commence the recall process of the Senate President.
INEC, in its response to the demand of the constituent, wrote a letter dated 3rd of August, 2017 directed the constituent to direct it request to the Commission's Chairman.
The INEC response reads;
Recall some group has recently vowed to begin the recall process of the Senate President on the 1st of July. They, however, said the inability to get the Voters' register as requested from the INEC was a bane, hence, they postponed it.
