The recruitment portal of Lagos State Government which is been used to register applicants to Lagos State Local Government Service Commission www.jobs.lagosstate.gov.ng has been suspended by the server host of the site.
Checks by News Punch to the site as at Press Times, 7:47pm on Thursday showed the site is suspended. When News Punch reporter attempted to open the site, it simply displayed " This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information."
The suspension may not be unconnected with a very low bandwidth which the portal might have been hosted.
Many applicants stay overnight to ensure they register before the closing date which was scheduled to be tomorrow Friday 29th September, 2017
The website, www.jobs.lagosstate.gov.ng has since Monday been troubled when it was relaunched. Many potential applicants were unbaled to register for various vacancies advertised by the Local Government Commission of Lagos State.
Earlier check by News Punch this even before it was suspended revealed that over 12,000 have been able to register for various vacancies.
Over 20 vacant positions were advertised by Lagos State Government on the site
