An unconfirmed online report suggests that Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife has secretly taken a new queen following the marriage crash with his former queen, Wuraola Zaynab Otiti (nee Obanor), for a reason yet to be disclosed officially
Recall Wuraola put an end to the speculations over the fall out in their marriage when she took to her Instagram page to confirm the end of the 17 months old relationship.
Before Wuraola's separation and the eventual outburst, the Ooni has reportedly taken a new queen identified as Bolanle, who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun, an online report suggests.
That the new queen Bolanle has not featured publicly with the Ooni of Ife is what cannot be ascertained. But a few palace sources are of the opinion that the monarch is taking his time before the public show of his new queen.
Bolanle, who was said to have been gotten for the monarch through his three sisters, is enjoying all the attention now that Olori Wuraola is facing challenges holding on to the marriage with the Ooni.
Sources close to the youthful Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, say, the major battle he is being confronted with currently is featuring his new wife, Bolanle.
And those who are mounting the pressure for him to have another queen (and more) do have good grounds for doing so.
In his 40s, the tall, dark and handsome monarch has always been a hit with women on account of his smoldering good looks and deep pocket even long before he was enthroned. Women now worship the ground he treads.
A jolly good man, the pressure to get the Ooni to marry another wife is therefore predicated on the need to avoid any case of an accidental discharge that might rubbish the traditional institution he represents.
WHY OLORU WURAOLA WALKED AWAY
The estranged Olori Wuraola Otiti could not stand to see her husband shared with her her by other queens. So, when he could not stop the King, she opted to walk away from the marriage, a source said.
Reports suggest that there are moves to get more queens for the king to fill his multi-million naira palace as culture backed. Moreover, the Palace needs more princes and princesses that would be sired by the King.
But his beautiful wife is not ready to have another queen in the palace. On arrival from a trip recently, Olori Wuraola reportedly went to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta to intervene and probably advise her husband not to be influenced to get another wife. having exhausted entreaties which were futile, she decided to walk away from the marriage, the report said
