Reports from Anambra State where governorship election is ongoing suggest that voters have defied order from the Independent People of Biafra's order to boycott the election, News Proof understands

News Proof also leaned reliably that voting has commenced in the majority of the unit across the state.

The incumbent Governor, who is also seeking reelection, Mr. Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has cast his vote, few minutes back.

Also to have cast his vote is the candidate of UPP, Mr. Chodoka Osita. He voted at PU-030, Ward 14, Central School 3, Obosi, Onitsha North LGA.

Meanwhile, some members of IPOB have been arrested by the Security agents for an attempt to disrupt the election
