Osun Monarch, Oluwo Offers University Scholarship To Students

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi has offered has said it will offer scholarships to students of his AYIWOLA Federal Constituency of Osun State.

The Oba in a press release seen by News Proof reporter the criteria for selection of the beneficiaries will purely based on merit. He, however, called on every brilliant student from the Constituency to submit their result for screening.

Oluwo said the successful student will benefit from the university education scholarship

The scholarship is part of the Oluwo’s educational scheme under “OLUWO EDUCATIONAL TRUST FUND”, which is aimed at promoting the best brains among his children in the three local governments of Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa.

Oluwo said the students which will be selected on merit will be given free education covering tuition fees and other ancillary fees throughout the academic program at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State.

Oba Akanbi disclosed that the qualified students will be objectively selected from those local governments for the all-inclusive university scholarship.

The monarch tasked all interested students to submit their credentials within one weeks to Oluwo’s palace, Iwo.

The expected credentials for screening are O’Level result, JAMB result, Local government identification letter and declaration of age.
