One of the notable aspirants in Lagos West Senatorial District in the 2019 election, Hon Kayode Opeifa, has congratulated all Muslim faithfuls in Lagos State and across Nigeria as they celebrate the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Opeifa, the immediate past Commissioner for Transportation in Lagos State and the current transportation secretary in the Federal Capital Transportation Authority, urged Muslim brothers and sisters to emulate Prophet Mohammed's virtues of humility, kindness and love for fellow human beings after the celebration.
In a press release signed by his Director of Mobilisation and Strategy, Peter Ajayi, the popular grassroot politician and foremost aspirant in Lagos West senatorial district enjoined Muslims to imbibe the injunctions of Ramadan as a way of life by redoubling their good deeds, promoting peace, committing more in greater acts of worship and catering for the needy by being charitable.
He added that promoting peace and unity by religious leaders and
followers across the country is the only way dividends of democracy as expected to be delivered by governments at different levels can be achieved.
