A former Kogi east senator, Abdulrahman Abubakar has advised moslems and Nigerians to use the occasion of the holy month to pray for the state and the country,so to ensure peaceful political transition next year
Senator Abubakar made this statement in Abuja to mark this year's holy month which is expected of a moslem to display utter sober reflection,supplication and submission to the will of Almighty Allah in prayers
Abubakar stated that to this end,the islamic faithfuls are not expected to restrict themselves from eating and drinking alone,but solemnly prayerful for kogi and Nigeria nation to attract the blessing and guidance of Allah
Senator Abubakar regretted the unabated killings of any sorts going on all round the country,condemning the act while advising the dissidents and their collaborators to imbibe permanent ceasefire to return the country to its pride of place as peace loving nation
He urged the moslems and Christians alike to use the holy month to display unreserved magnanimous acts and conducts so as to earn the heavenly reward conversant with the observation of the holy month
Kogi east senator advised the political actors to avoid overheating the polity by going out of their ways,as the practice of democracy world over negates imposition,less rancour,display of thuggery and other needless tendencies but rather titled towards the development and provision of social safety nets
Abubakar Railway wished the entire moslems a robust and peaceful ramadan session in the next 30 days,praying that it will usher in more ideas and development strategy that will move the country forward to greater heights
