At times, one will wonder does Nigeria politicians really have any iota of integrity? In less than 72 hours, Senator Lanre Tejuoso from Ogun State who defected with the 15 senators from APC on Tuesday, July 24th, has returned to the ruling party.
The Ogun Senator made the declaration via his twitter handle this morning while sharing photos from his visit to President Buhari last night.
Earlier, Sen. Lanre Tejuoso, had tweeted that he had left the APC. See his tweetMy committee will work with @Fmohnigeria & Dev. Partners to ensure upgrade of 10,000 PHCs in each political ward across the country. As I have always said, we must ensure that every Nigerian has access to basic healthcare.— Sen. Meanwhile, I remain a member of #APC @OfficialAPCNg ✌️ pic.twitter.com/sdHUQI4cld
Dear Friends,— Sen. Lanre Tejuoso (@lanretejuoso) July 24, 2018
I hereby confirm that I have left the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, I am yet to align with any political party as consultations are still ongoing. All politics is local. I remain deeply rooted in Ogun State politics. Watch this space.
