Doris Doosuur Uva, the Founder/CEO of Doris Uva Foundation (DUF) is a woman who believes in elevating the human race through her foundation. She has made significant impact on the lives of girls not only in Benue State but beyond.
Between 2016 and 2017, she significantly touched the lives of many girls in Benue through sensitization on the importance of education and self-discipline to become good girls and make the desired impact on their communities and be good wives to their husbands when they get married. She also gave them support in other areas in their education and psychological well-being.
It was as a result of all these that The Office of The Kumashe U Tiv (CTS), Benue State University Chapter in December 2017 presented the Iconic Merit Award of "Ambassador of Tiv Girls" to her in recognition of her impact.
She was extremely glad for the honour and promised to do more which she has kept to that promise till today and it is evident in her life-changing activities towards girls and others.
