SENATOR Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Senate President and Governors of the South East geo-political zone are currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House Villa, in Abuja News Proof has learned reliably
Ekweremadu and the governors arrived the State House Villa, Abuja by 4.10pm and went straight into the President’s office for a closed-door meeting.
Except for the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, the four other governors of the zone including Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, and Enugu are said to be in attendance at the meeting.
The details of the meeting still remain sketchy as at time filing this report as it was still ongoing.
Recent rife media reports suggest that the Deputy Senate President was planning to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC ahead of the 2019 general election
