377 ROADS, POWER AND WATER PROJECT - YOUTHS APPLAUDS GOVERNOR'S PROMPT INTERVENTION

Leveraging on the above quote, it is important Youths which occupies the larger percentage of the population key-in, appreciate and support the policies and programs of any popular and acceptable government.

On behalf of the Lagos State Youth, we wish to express our profound gratitude, to His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, as he begins the construction of roads, power and water project across the 377 wards in Lagos State.

Appreciating the Governor, the Commissioner for Youths and Social  Development, Hon. Segun Dawodu said that, "We really appreciate the ever vibrant Governor, with these giant unprecedented strides of making the impact of governance more felt at the grassroots level, you have continue to show that truly, the most legitimate government is that which operates within the principles of popular sovereignty".

"The involvement of the ward councillors  in the formulation and implementation processes further cement the status of this administration as a broadband base government because based on research, 75% of the councillors are Youth. Thus it embrace youth in governance". Commissioner added. 

In the same vein,  the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Hon. Akanbi Ade Saheed (Afonja), also extols the exemplary stride of the Governor through this grassroot project, "Am not surprised of this laudable projects as the Governor reiterates his committment in youth engagement, involvement and provision of basic amenities to the people at all times.

 Thanks so much Sir, this indeed will help improve the living standard of the youth and aid easy access of Lagosians to basic amenities".

Giving the nature of this policy, it has come to light that the administrative principle of management by objective can be attainable at all governmental levels.

As you proceed in the quest to improve the people's well-being and putting Lagos State ahead of other states through the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda, we assure you of our continuous support.
