BREAKING: Gov. Sanwo-olu appoints Afonja as SSA on Youths Development

The Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Sanwo-olu has approved the appointment of Mr. Saheed Ade Akanbi, popularly called Afonja as the Senior Special Assistance on Youths Development.

The appointee, Afonja personally made the disclosure on Facebook when he posted; "I have just been appointed by His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu as his Senior Special Assistant on Youth Development.

I have nothing to say than to thank GOD for  this great and wonderful birthday gift.

This is an assignment that must be collectively accomplished by us #ForAGreaterLagos.

Until his appointment, Afonja who is from Olorunda lcda of Badagry Local Government is the founder, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, among others. He is a youths mobilizer and a staunch supporter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

He is married with beautiful children.
