In a feat that could be described as grand breaking, the Council Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Teliat Onilude today laid the foundation for building of new administrative block at the council's secretariat, Ajara, Badagry, Lagos.
In the event that was witnessed by prominent politicians, traditional rulers, civil servants and well-meaning community leaders, Hon. Onilude said he is committed at ensuring he deliver purposeful leadership in the local government.
The council boss said the building of the new administrative block has long overdue due to offices challenge being faced at the Council. He said subsequent governments have failed to address the issue but he will not. He said the building which will cost the council N214m will be delivered in 18 months.
He, however thanked all residents of Badagry for the confidence reposed in him to serve them as the council Chairman
