Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the efforts of others, towards the achievement of a goal. This is what it seems, as members of the Nigeria association of Women journalists sent a clarion call through a communiqué released to media men in Abuja in support of the presidential bid of Ruth Abubakar.

The communique made available to the CURRENT NEWS NOW news desk stated emphatically that majority of the women journalists are in support Ruth Abubakar for the exotic seat as president of the noble association.

Ruth Abubakar Is a two-term Vice President of NAWOJ Zone E (North East)

She has gathered much experience in unionism, having been actively involved in the activities of NAWOJ and the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), as Secretary, Information Chapel in Gombe Council; pioneer Chairperson of NAWOJ Gombe council.
