The appointment was announced in a press statement released by the media aides to the chairman on the 28th September 2020.
Hon. Agbaje was, until his new appointment a Special Assistant on Environment to the executive chairman of the council.
The statement reads:
The general public is hereby notified of the appointment of a new Supervisor, three(3) Special Assistants as well as portfolio reshuffles in the Executive arm of the Government of Olorunda LCDA.
The changes are as follows;
Henceforth, Hon. Kole Agbaje the former Special Assistant on Environment has been appointed as the Budget Supervisor.
In the same vein, there were reshuffles in some other departments;
Hon. Hassan Rasaq, the former Budget Supervisor has henceforth been appointed as the Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Community Development, Youth and Sport.
Former Supervisory Councillor for Environment, Hon. Isikan Mathew takes on the Supervisory Councillor for Health portfolio.
Hon Dauda Aina, Former Supervisory Councillor for Health is hereby appointed Supervisory Councillor for Environment.
In an extension of these reshuffles, the following were appointed as Special Assistants:
Okunade Waliu Abiodun S.A on Works
Ahmed Bankole S.A on Environment
Mr. Sulu Kareem S.A on Revenue.
However, the following members of the Executive arm continue to retain their portfolios:
The Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Bamgbose Olufemi remains the Council's Supervisory Councillor for Education
Hon. Nurat Zubair Olayinka remains the Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation,
Hon. Olatunji Ogabi retains his portfolio as the Supervisory Councillor for Works.
