Some men of the Nigeria Police Force have reportedly arrested the leaders of Fix Lagos Badagry Expressway peaceful protesters in Badagry.
They were apprehended at Aradagun area of Olorunda Lcda, in Badagry, Lagos State, News Proof understands.
The protesters had planned the peaceful protest to clamor for the repair of the critically damaged expressway from that connect Nigeria with other west Africa countries.
According to an eyewitness, who preferred not to be named, the peaceful protest which started at Mowo bus stop was disrupted at Aradagun as men of the Nigerian Police Force led by the DPO of Badagry police station arrested Amb. Mark Akande, the leader of the protesters with two other comrades.
The members of the group, are now appealing to the Nigerian police to free their members, as they have done nothing to err the law.
