Comrade Saheed Akanbi Afonja, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on Youths Development has expressed worry over the second wave of the dreaded global pandemic, the Covid-19, thereby asks youths in Lagos State to be cautious and ensure strict observation of all health protocol to contain the further spread of the infectious disease.
The Governor's aide made the appeal in a Press statement release on Sunday, 10th January, 2021.

"The only strategy towards engaging #EKOYOUTH more at the moment, is by playing safe against the infection of COVID-19."
"The second wave is not a joke, the pandemic this time around gives no respect to anyone regardless of age or health status."
"Personally, I am worried and so much concerned about Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's engagement vision and initiatives for EKO YOUTH this year 2021."
"Let's respect all prevention guidelines and always play safe for our own wellbeing", the statement read.
