DSP Aide faults Okowa over Delta Govt upgrades three Tertiary institutions

The  Honourable RT. Comrade  Williams Aminugo, Legislative Assistant to the Deputy Senate President of the Senate, Distinguished senator Ovie Omo Agege has come air to fault Governor Dr ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to  drop the bill of  the upgrade of the some selected higher institutions in Deltans and focus on how to attracts an industrial industries to the state rather than upgrade the institutions that are doing well.
In a statement issued by Hon Comrade  Williams Aminugo who spoke to the newsmen at Abuja while addressing issues affecting Delta State in  Educational sections, describe the upgrade of the seasonal selectd is unnecessary and abuse of institutions
He noted that, Delta State has enough higher institutions to accommodate enough students for admission and others human capacity educational development.
He said, Delta State has enough HIGHER INSTITUTIONS IN DELTA STATE (FEDERAL, STATE AND PRIVATE OWNED) hence we didn't need upgrade of the seasonal selectd institutions and what Deltans now is industries and Companies to engage those who are graduated

2. Delta State University, Awai Campus
3. Delta State Polytechnic, Ugwashi-ukwu
4. Delta State College of Education, Agbor
5. Delta State School of Nursing, Agbor.
6. FRSC Training School, Owa- Alero
7. Delta State School of Midwifery, Asaba.

B. Delta Central
1. Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun.
2. Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun
3. Delta State University, Abraka
4. Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara
5. Delta College of Education, Mosogar
6. Delta State University, Teaching Hospital, Oghara.
7. Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, Eku
8. Delta State School of Midwifery, Sapele
9. Delta State School of Health, Ufuoma.

C. Delta South
1. Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko
2. Delta State University, Oleh Campus

However,we have 30 Higher Institutions. 5 Federal institutions. 5 Private Universities. We already have enough higher institutions in Delta State.
He however urged governor Okowa to upgrade Delta State University Abraka to standard University and forget upgrades for the sellectd institutions, Hence, what we need now is industries/companies for graduates from those institutions to work. We have too many unemployed graduates..., He stated
