He urged the the residents, especially the youths to join the ruling All Progressives Congress by participating in the forthcoming membership registration and revalidation of the party slated to commence from February 9th 2021.
Sesi made the declaration in a press statement issued and personally signed by him on Wednesday, 3rd of February 2021.
He said the party registration and revalidation is an ample opportunity for the youths to join the ruling political party, the APC so as to engage in the process to produce leaders that will bring about the true change they have desired and clamour for on social media.
"My Dear Residents, especially Youths in Badagry; the ongoing APC registration and revalidation is a process to the change we all have been clamoring for. This has also present to us, an ample opportunities to change the fortunes of our dear country in all sectors. Enough of this social media politics."
"We all can only make a change by participating and cultivating skills in politics and leadership. I enjoin all residents of Badagry to register under our progressive party, the APC today, so we can ensure a better leadership tomorrow." The statement read in part.
Sesi Whingan is the founder of the renowned Sesi Whingan Foundation in Badagry. The foundation has been doing wonderfully well by helping the indigents and widows. Through the foundation, Sesi has empowered many youths, women and physically challenged individuals in the area.
Recently, the foundation refurbished and re-equipped a government owned Primary Healthcare Centre located at Pota area of Badagry.
Also, the foundation during the lockdown as the result of the global pandemic, the Covid-19, distributed so many food and safety items to the residents.
Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan is a card carrying member of the APC in Badagry Local Government of Lagos State.
