ANAMBRA 2021: Coalition of Civil Society Organizations Endorse Sen. Andy Uba

A coalition of civil society organisation,  under the auspices of Citizens Media Organization has endorsed former Senator, Andy Uba for the governorship election slated to be held later this year. 

The group made the declaration in a press statement signed by the trios of it Chairman, Comrade Larry suraj, the 

Secretary, Comrade ikechukwu albert

and the PRO, Comrade Ajibade samuel respectively. 

The group said it arrived at the decision to endorse the former Anambra South Senator, Uba, considering the enormity of the the task ahead of next Anambra State Governor, and who could be up to the task.

"Considering the task ahead for whoever will emerge as the Governor of Anambra by 2021, we have no doubt that it's only Senator Andy Uba who can face the challenges and face it squarely considering his antecedent and feats made both in politics, economic and social life. "

" Our decision was thoughtfully and fairly made considering other aspirants who have also signified interest to contest the election, but the seat of Anambra Governor needs a trusted and competent hand who could harness the potentials of the state for the gains of the good people of Anambra. And the only person who best fits the position is Senator Andy Uba. With Uba, we are very sure Anambra will be great again", the statement read in part.
