Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had performed creditably well and beyond expectations in all areas for the betterment of Lagos State since 2019.
An analyst, Abubakar Yusuf said the introduction of T-H-E-M-E-S among many other programs of his administration gave credence to his return to Marina house in Lagos in 2023.
He said public institutions from Education, Health, Agriculture, Housing, provision of water , roads and infrastructural developement that encompassed his developmental template had being given the attention it deserved.
Schools and Hospitals that were hitherto neglected in Lagos state can now compete favourably with private and foreign medical outfits with adequate medical attention.
Special attention to Health and health related matters amidst COVID-19, with provision of vaccine for over 2M Lagosians among other non pharmaceutical items, including gas stations had ameliorated the prevalent of the global scourge from its first to the fourth wave recently concluded in Lagos.
Inspite the negative consequences of Endsars, Sanwo-Olu picked Lagos from the rags of the civil strife were trillions was lost to hoodlums and repositioned Lagos State for more dividends of democracy.
'The rejigged revenue base of the state from 20s in 2018 to 40s in 2019 and the decision of the state government to use 2022 IGR to fund this year's budget is a remarkable achievements in the history of Lagos State.'
This will translate to the generation of trillions in 2022 ahead of billions generated in 2021, as the budget for 2022 runs into over N1trillion by Sanwolu's administration.
'This is in addition to repositioning of all the transport sectors from water, rail,and road transportation through construction of more BRT roads, BRT buses razed down during the Endsars crises, acquisition of more boats, and introduction of red and blue rail transport in Lagos in 2022 .'
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu aside improving the transportation system through building of more roads, bridges and flyovers, also crowned it up with the convening ofa multi trillion naira 4th Mainland bridge in Lagos state to complement the 3rd Mainland bridge.
The Governor released a whopping N35B in the payment of pensioners who had putting in their best services of the state before retirement, along with special salaries for health workers in Lagos state.
The second term will be a bonus to Lagosians as they will witness more innovations, developement among other major breakthroughs of the state.
These multiple development had made the ruling APC more popular in Lagos and positioned to winning all elections in 2023.
