The group made disclosure at a press conference held in Lagos on the 12 April 2022.
The President of the group, Dr. Charles Adele Viakon at the press conference said they decided to throw their weight behind Dr. Bello because of his youthfulness, passion and determination to birth ap new Nigeria hinged on socio-economic reinvigoration, quality education, and infrastructural developement.
"Our group, the YAGG decided to endorse Dr. Ibrahim Bello Dauda as it's presidential aspirant after careful scrutiny, study and observations of many aspirants who have indicated their interest to vie for the most coveted seat of power in Nigeria."
"Apart from the youthfulness of Dr. Ibrahim Bello; his social-economic, education, youths capacity development, technological and infrastructural agendas for the betterment and development of Nigeria is unambiguously, realisable and tenable"
"Also, Dr. Bello has the capacity to sustain the good legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari, having being in the corridor of power at the Presidency."
"We therefore urge all well-meaning Nigerians to rally support for this young and vibrant individual who is determined to take Nigeria to the next level of developments", the statement read in part.
Dr. Ibrahim Bello Dauda is one of the leading presidential aspirants in the ruling All Progressives Congress to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
