Kidnapped Aspirant wins PDP Reps Ticket from abductor's hideout

The kidnapped son of Professor Ango Abdullahi, Sadik Ango who is among the abducted passengers of Kaduna train attack, has won the primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Sabon Gari Federal constituency in Kaduna State.

His father, Professor Ango Abdullahi, who is the convener of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) disclosed this to newsmen in an interview.

The elder statesman, who was happy over the development, expressed optimism that his son will soon be reunited with the family.

 

He said efforts were being made to secure his release with others still in captivity.
