Dr. Betta Edu, APC National Women Leader Earns C'Rivers State A National Health Award

... Represents Gov. Ben Ayade at award reception.

Barely five (5) month ago the ebullient National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr Betta Edu resigned as  theNational Chairman of all the Health Commissioners in Nigeria and commissioner for Health in Cross River without knowing that she had created a niche for herself in the health sector owing to her professionalism, passion, innovation, hard and humanitarian work in Health Programs implementation like Immunization and Covid-19 response.

Today, her good work still speaks volume as the Federal Ministry of Health and National Primary Health Care Development Agency invited the Executive Governor of Cross River State HE Ben Ayade to receive an Immunization Performance Recognition award where Cross River State emerged as the best performing State in the south south zone during which period Dr Betta Edu served as Cross River State Commissioner of Health.

Dr. Betta Edu in her goodwill message thanked the Federal Government for recognizing all the efforts of Governor Ayade in the health sector noting that the best for the Nigeria Health sector is coming with the candidature of SEN Bola Ahmed Tinibu! She promise that the state will maintain top position and remain outstanding in Health sector. She congratulated the Cross River Health Team for the excellent well deserved award, charging them to do more.

the award was presented by the SGF H. E Boss Mustapha,   Hon Min Health Dr Ehanire, and ED NPHCDA Dr Faisal Shuaibu. 

While Other top Dignitaries included,, Governor of Kano and Nasarawa, Deputy Gov of Ebonyi, OGUN and Kaduna, Dr Janet Ekpeyong DG CRSPHCDA,Primary Health care Dev Agency the implementation guru at grassroots PHC level . Dr Iwara Iwara PS Min Health CRS and Mrs Joy Chabo the State Immunisation officer .
