The APC Benue State House of Assembly candidate to represent Tiev Constituency, Hon. Mathew Damkor applauds his counterpart for Kyan Constituency, Hon. Terna Shimawua for his plan to establish liaison offices in each council ward of his constituency if elected.
Hon. Damkor says such initiative will connect constituents with their representatives and enhance community and individual development if all senators and representatives will embrace it.
"I am fully in support of establishing liaison offices in all council wards by those representing the constituencies where they belong. Just as my brother Hon. Shimawua has said, I will also embrace it and do same if elected.
"What I want to add to it is that such liaison offices will be the heartbeat of each council ward because it will serve as a centre for receiving and giving information that would enhance community and individual development.
"Through the liaison offices, I will be having constituency briefings or meetings which will be held once in two months so that the progress made and challenges faced will be discussed and solutions will be given where necessary", he said.
"Tiev State Constituency has six council wards which are: Mbayongo, Mbakaange, Nyimangbah, Ningev, Mbatyough and Vandeikya Township.
