Effective leadership requires understanding the fundamental needs of those you lead. In doing so, their plights are taken into cognizance with the desire to alleviating their sufferings using the available resources judiciously for the expected impact to be made.
Nigeria as a country needs a president who is prudent and visionary to drive development to all levels of governments. At the state level, the governors are saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring that they build on the leadership path of the president and also bring in their development outside that of the federal government. At the grassroots level, the members of the State House of Assembly are entrusted with the tasks of effectively reaching out to those in the rural areas especially, and making the desired impact.
Hon. Shimawua who is contesting as member representing Kyan State Constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly believes in the leadership philosophy of the third President of the United States of America, Thomas Jefferson. Just like him, Shimawua believes that democracy is enjoyed and well felt when those in leadership positions ensure that the interest of the whole is a top priority.
He believes that the people of Kyan Constituency deserves the best representation anyone can think of. He has seen the impact Rt. Hon. Mrs. Dorathy Mato made when she was representing Kyan Constituency and would also touch every area of Kyan and beyond for a more effective representation.
Hon Shimawua's quest to represent the good people of Kyan Constituency is hinged on the love for his people and is devoted to giving selfless services to making his constituents happy so that he will reignite their joy and bring hope to their despair.
He will soon unveil his blueprint on how he intends to turn things around for the common good in Kyan Constituency and beyond if he will be elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Let us give him all the support he needs.
