One of the groups championing the grassroots campaigns for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Progressive Group (APG) has lauded Hon. Prince Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, the House of Representatives candidate of the APC for Badagry Federal Constituency, for volunteering to convey the applicants of N-SKILL from Badagry to the screening center, Akowonjo, in Lagos.
The N-SKILL initiative is a skill acquisition program designed to train youth in acquiring some basic skills in line with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). It's a youth empowerment initiative championed by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Intervention.
According to the report, the APG coordinator for the Badagry chapter, Mr. Hunga Joshua Nunayon, revealed that when the financial challenge of conveying the applicants from Badagry to the screening venue in Lagos surfaced, he contacted Hon. Whingan for help, and he immediately obliged and granted them the request. He said the young philanthropist turned politician gave out a bus and has since transported the applicants to and from the screening venue.
"We contacted Sesi for support, and he responded immediately by giving us one of his buses to convey N-Skill beneficiaries in Badagry to Akowonjo, where the screening was held."
Joshua appreciated Sesi for all the forms of community service he has been rendering to the people of Badagry, especially the youths. He concluded by saying that with Prince Sesi, Badagry's development is already breathing a sigh of relief.
