The APC candidate contesting to represent Kyan State Constituency at the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Terna Emmanuel Shimawua has reinstated his unreserved commitment to enhancing development in the constituency if elected.
One of the projects he intends to execute in Kyan if elected is to sink motorized boleholes in each council ward in the constituency. Kyan had six council wards namely: Mbadede, Tsambe, Mbajor, Mbagbam, Mbakyaha and Mbagbera.
"I went to all the council wards in Kyan and took note of all the challenges the wards are facing. One of the challenges is lack of access to clean water. I have seen villagers trek long distances to get water and the most unfortunate thing is that even the water is not clean.
"If I am elected, I will set up a committee that will look into how these challenges can be tackled effectively. When the boleholes are sunk, they will provide clean and drinkable water to the constituents", he said.
