We'll spare no effort to make Badagry work, make smuggling unattractive, MHR-elect, Sesi assures constituents

The Member-elect, House of Representatives, of the Badagry Federal Constituency, Prince Hon Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, has assured constituents that he will spare no effort to make Badagry work and facilitate job alternatives that will make smuggling unappealing to the teeming youths.

The young federal legislator-elect made the assurance yesterday, April 12, 2023, during a virtual interactive session with some revered and notable Badagry youths dubbed "Badagry Post Election Discourse" organized by Eagles Leadership Assembly. 

Sesi stated that as soon as he takes office as the representative of his people in the National Assembly, he will make every effort to attract social-economic and infrastructural development, which will create better jobs and make smuggling unappealing to youths who are currently doing it as an alternative due to a lack of viable jobs. He also stated that as the people's representative, his top priorities include legislation and lobbying to attract quality education, tourism, youth and women empowerment, and capacity building. He, however, stated that these cannot be accomplished without the help of everyone, particularly Badagry youths with strong intellectual capacities and all relevant stakeholders. 

"As a legislator, I cannot solve all of Badagry's problems on my own." In doing so, I will work with and collaborate with all stakeholders. As your representative, I will ensure an all-inclusive administration. To accomplish this, I will establish a platform where all well-meaning leaders, technocrats, entrepreneurs, and youths from Badagry with high intellectual capacity, both at home and abroad, can come together, brainstorm, and collectively propose solutions to the problems confronting our constituency. Badagry will definitely work; there is no going back." The young philanthropist turned politician  said.
