Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Wednesday sworn in three new Special Advisers, at the Katsina State Government House Council Chamber.
The newly-inaugurated SAs, who joined the Katsina State Executive Council as members, include Comrade Tanimu Lawal Saulawa; the immediate-past Accountant General of the State, Malik Anas, and Umar Mammada. Lawal Saulawa was also a Special Adviser in the immediate-past administration of former Governor Aminu Bello Masari.
After administering the oath of office and allegiance on his new appointees, Governor Radda tasked them on effective discharge of their duties.
According to him, engaging the trio of Saulawa, Anas and Mammada, as members of the State Executive Council is a reward for their individual contributions in the political and general development of Katsina.
He said: "This is a call for you to serve our dear State patriotically. Let us all work collectively together towards rebuilding Katsina, and restoring its cherished glories.
"On a personal note, I am charging Alh. Malik Anas to share his wealth of experience with the new Accountant General, so that he can consolidate on your unrivalled achievements, while in office.
"As for Comrade Tanimu Saulawa, your antecedents as a courageous labour activist cannot be disputed. And that absolutely, was the reason Governor Masari appointed you, as one of his advisers, to assist his administration deliver on its promises to Katsina people.
"I have just one thing to say about Alh. Umar Mammada. And that is, he is an epitome of honesty and transparency. His passion for the progress of our beloved Katsina is indescribable. He does not fail to deliver any assignment you entrust him to carry out".
