Construction of Badagry Deep Seaport Begins, Lagos Assembly lawmaker, Bonu says as he visits site

Hon. Solomon Saanu Bonu, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Badagry Constituency 1, has said the construction of the much-talked-about Badagry Deep Seaport has begun.

He made the disclosure yesterday in a post shared on Facebook.

The state lawmaker, who is very close to his people, also said he visited the construction site of the deep seaport yesterday, October 19, 2023, which began from the Gbaji-Yeke axis of the seaport.

Bonu disclosed that he also engaged the youth and leaders of the community on the need to cooperate with the construction engineers on the site. He said the seaport, when completed, will bring better development to Badagry and Lagos State.
