The National Productivity Centre, NPC has embarked on the distribution of more laptop computers to Akangba area of Lagos community.
The exercise second in the year was to guarantee the global trends of computer age as well as create an engagement outlets for members of the community.
The distribution which took place at National Power Training Institute NAPTIN Akangba, Surulere Local Government Area was targeted at artisans, unemployed youths, self employed and students meant to boost the digital knowledge and age.
Speaking at the occasion on Saturday, Baale Majeolate in Surulere area of Lagos community, High Chief Kamaldeen Hassan commended the centre for always having the area in mind in all their activities.
He recalled the one conducted in July this year, and the positive impact already gathered by the beneficiaries who continued to express deep gratitude to the management of the centre.
"Today,we have some few beneficiaries from the large chunk who have come to express their joy on the utilisation of the donated laptops which they benefited in July , 2023."
"We are appealing to the centre to continue with such laudable and positive development, while urging the many agencies of government both at local , state and federal level to support the unique initiatives."
"The Surulere community in it's entirety will continue to recognize your humanitarian and passion to continue to touch life in your way."
Highlights of the occasion was the distribution of the laptop to beneficiaries by the iyaloja 11 of Lagos.
