While we deem it needless to restate the contents and evil objectives of the press conference by the miserable members of the so called “Benue Patriots”’ as contained in their sloth outing,we wish to draw the attention of the general public,specifically to the mad men under “Benue Patriots” to followings:
1. That His Excellency,Distinguished Senator Dr. George Akume,CON has NOT indicated interest to anyone or group of persons that he intends to contest for any future political office in 2027 as mischievously stated by the set of cankerworms called ”Benue Patriots”.
2. That His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Dr. George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation,an appointment that is uniquely bestowed on him by God through the President and Commander
In- Chief,His Excellency,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,feels most honoured and grateful to Mr. President for the opportunity given to him to serve in his government. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Senator Dr. George Akume shares in absolute spirit and faith of loyalty,prayers,support and goodwill for a long life,good health,blessings and protection of God upon the person and office of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,GCFR.
3. We wish to state and very clearly too, that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Senator Dr. George Akume,CON is one of the most credible citizens who has been widely adjudged to be overly selfless,with outstanding record as a patriotic Nigerian who is averse to personal aggrandizement. Senator Dr. Akume is one of the truest politicians who does not have personal companies, foreign accounts,businesses,and personal financial empires as it is common with most traditional African political leaders and actors. To this extent,the submission by ” Benue Patriots” that the SGF is trying to amass wealth in order to take control of APC structurs in Benue State is not only a demonstration of silliness but a show of foolery and lunacy by members of the so called “Benue Patriots”. This is because the SGF incontestably remains the political compass and bridge builder of North Central politics in Nigeria.
4. Furthermore, it is most ridiculous for members of the “Benue Patriots “ to engage in fruitless exercise of mind game to the extent of embarrassing themselves in a press conference by stating that the SGF is in a speculative political alliance with former Benue, Governor Samuel Ortom of the PDP against the incumbent APC governor in Benue State,His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth ALIA.
As laughtable as this figment of primitive and deceitful imagination of “Benue Patriots” lingers,it is the worst lie straight from the pit of hell by the lunatics of “Benue Patriots”. The SGF has NO alliance with former PDP Governor in Benue,Samuel Ortom whom the SGF made sure he lost the 2023 senate election in PDP,as well as failure of the party in the gubernatorial election. Indeed,there no basis for any sane minds to imagine that a political leader like SGF who is a reservoir of sterling credibility and staunch wisdom will rise to destroy the bases of his political party,the APC and its pride in preference to a failed and lost political party like the PDP which Samuel Ortom is the leader. Meanwhile,there is no realistic discussion or any iota of truth anywhere that former PDP governor in Benue State,Samuel Ortom is joining the APC courtesy of the SGF.
It is curious to emphasize that the SFG,His Excellency,Distinguished Senator Dr. George Akume,CON is remarkably known as a unifying factor and a statesman whose immeasurable service and contributions to democratization process,peace building and national unity will continue to bear on our human existence and political history as a people. The Benue government and people of Benue State, excluding ( the “Benue Patriots”)believe and consider His Excellency, Senator Dr. George Akume,CON, the SGF as the bedrock of their pride,honour and capacity. They are indeed,grateful to God for the gift of their great son as SGF.
5. Finally,we wish to let the public know that the relationship between the SGF and the Executive Governor of Benue State is beyond the divisive antics and pranks as separatists who disguise in their dirtiest veils of saboteurs,opposition elements,political desperados,political rent seekers,survivalists,etc. The irony however, is that these crop of political undertakers can never find any to succeed in their hopeless exploits.
6. We call on the good people of Benue State and friends of the state to remain steadfast in prayers and goodwill for the success of the SGF and Executive Governor of Benue State,His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia.
