Zamfara Governor Uncomfortable With Criticism, Plans Arrest, Detention Of 50 Opposition Members

An insider source from Zamfara state government House who declined to mention his name for security reasons, has alerted some of his friends who are members of the All progressives congress, APC, to leave the state with immediate effect, alleging that, "the government of  Dauda Lawal has an underground plan to arrest and detain them.

He further alleged that those fingered to be arrested by the government are some loyalists of the All progressives Congress, APC, he said the "Dauda Lawal administration has concluded arrangements on this plan and will anytime from now start to arrest and detain some former commissioners, Special Advisers, Heads of agencies and parastatals, who openly declared their loyalty to the government of APC and their total loyalty to the Bola Tinubu led administration" 

The source further alleged that the decision followed an advice given to governor Dauda Lawal Dare by a top retired police officer who vows to facilitate the arrest and level criminals charges against them with a view to stopping them from  attacking the Dauda Lawal administration, as well as defending the policies of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

He said "being a person with so many friends in the APC, I have since alerted my targeted APC friends to take a refuge or possibly leave the State for their safety.

Some of those mentioned in the  proposed mass arrest include two former speakers of Zamfara state  House of Assembly and a former Deputy Speaker who was recently released from detention for charges in monumental corruption, Rt Hon Mamman Bawa, Bature Umaru Sambo, and Murtala Adamu Jangebe who have already decamped to PDP on hearing the planned massive arrest by the Lawal Dare's administration.?
