NASS SERVERANCE: Aides Berate Senate President over non payment of their Serverance

Following the 9th National Assembly Aides delay entitlement payment,The group under the aegis known as Cossla of the leadership of the immediate past, Senate President, senator Ahemed Lawan in the 9th National Assembly has faulted the current Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio and the minister of finance for hijacked their Serverance entitlement for over decade of half a year, in a statement issued to newsmen yesterday while reacting to the delay payment of thiers Serverance entitlement, said,  . since over six months  ago, the immediate past National Assembly Aides have been promised all series' of fakes information everyday till date after their Serverance entitlement payment and uptil now no payment of such has been done, According  to the Aides group who spoke against the Serverance Committee  information from department of finance last week December 1st,2023, quotes by Mr Bola Adeyemo who is parading himself as a messenger and signatures for Serverance Committee as follows, 

"UPDATE ON PAYMENT OF SEVERANCE OF 9TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY LEGISLATIVE AIDES

We want to use this  medium to congratulate the 9th National Assembly Legislative Aides for the successful completion of the tenure. Though not all Aides who started the tenure that finished with us. We pray that Almighty God console the families they left behind. One (1) minute silence for the departed souls…may their gentle souls rest with God. Amen" 

"However, after due diligent and a serious work has been done in making sure all  Aides are paid what is due to them. The Severance Committee ( Management and Legislative Aides ) has worked tirelessly and efficiently to pay Aides their severance package accordingly".

Furthermore, the awaiting Severance Package, according to the Nass management, the payment of severance will commence  first week of December, 2023, (starting from 6th December, 2023). The payment will be in batches, if your name is not included in the first batch, be rest assured that subsequent batches you will be included and at the end of the exercise, everyone that is qualified for severance will be paid.

"We want to reiterate our commitments  to the welfare of our colleagues, to making sure they get the wages of their labour for good four years. 

Consequently, if there are complaints regarding the payments of severance, you can channel it through the committee.,"

 They noted, however it was another fakes information flying around that Serverance payment has begun last week December 8th and not knowing that it was just curious information and alleges, that 

 Senate President Godswill Akpabio , Clerk of the national assembly, Serverance Committee connivined with the banks to fixed the NASS SERVERANCE Aide's money for Banks deposit and use the Aides entitlement to enriched themselves,", group however vowed yesterday if non payment of thiers Serverance entitlement been done within two days  working , they will crumble the Activities of the national assembly as counting from today, they state.
